Quién hay detrás de Crumi
Crumi no nació en una sala de reuniones ni con financiación de inversores. Nació de la frustración de llegar a casa después de un día largo y encontrar que nadie sabe de quién es el turno de fregar.
Una sola persona. Un problema real.
Soy ingeniero de software con más de una década de experiencia construyendo sistemas que escalan, APIs que aguantan y productos que la gente usa de verdad. He trabajado en proyectos de todo tipo, para empresas de todo tamaño. Sé perfectamente cómo se hace bien el software — y sé reconocer cuándo alguien lo hace mal.
En 2023, el Ministerio de Igualdad invirtió más de 374.000 € de dinero público en una aplicación llamada MeToca. Una App de reparto de tareas del hogar que fue retirada en enero de 2025 con una valoración de 1,6 estrellas y apenas 915 usuarios activos. Sin gamificación. Sin reparto inteligente. Sin diseño que diera ganas de abrirla.
Cuando lo leí pensé: esto lo puedo hacer yo solo, mejor, y sin costarle un euro a nadie. Así que lo hice.
Por qué Crumi es diferente
No tengo un equipo de 20 personas ni un departamento de marketing. Tengo experiencia real, criterio técnico y la motivación de alguien que ha vivido el problema en primera persona. Eso, a veces, vale más que el presupuesto.
Crumi está construida con las mismas herramientas y estándares que usaría en cualquier proyecto profesional: arquitectura limpia, API robusta, seguridad por defecto y una obsesión por que la experiencia de uso sea tan sencilla que no haga falta ningún tutorial.
Cada funcionalidad existe porque tiene sentido, no porque quedaba bien en un PowerPoint de licitación.
¿Y ahora qué?

Who is behind Crumi
Crumi was not born in a meeting room or with investor funding. It was born from the frustration of coming home after a long day and finding that nobody knows whose turn it is to do the dishes.
One person. One real problem.
I am a software engineer with over a decade of experience building systems that scale, APIs that hold up, and products that people actually use. I have worked on projects of all kinds, for companies of all sizes. I know exactly how to build software properly — and I know how to recognise when someone does it badly.
In 2023, the Spanish Ministry of Equality invested over €374,000 of public money in an app called MeToca. No design that made you want to open it.
When I read about it I thought: I could build something better, alone, and at no cost to anyone. So I did.
Why Crumi is different
I do not have a team of 20 people or a marketing department. I have real experience, technical judgement, and the motivation of someone who has lived the problem first-hand. That, sometimes, is worth more than the budget.
Crumi is built with the same tools and standards I would use in any professional project: clean architecture, a robust API, security by default, and an obsession with making the user experience so simple that no tutorial is needed.
Every feature exists because it makes sense, not because it looked good in a procurement PowerPoint.
What comes next?
